Join us in spreading
appreciation for Classical music and up lift the quality of life in Indonesia
According to neuroscientist Christo Pantev
from the University of Munster in Germany, practicing a musical instrument not only
improves performance, it also increases the size of the area of brain that processes
sound.
Art and music improves a student's intelligence. Psychologist Martin Gardiner of Brown University in United States had said that music, listened to during a break, assists the brain to concentrate on matters that are being studied. Research in the United States prove learning music at young age may improve general intelligence by training the brain not only to take in information but to process it as well. The Jakarta Post recently published an article on the role of music in neurological therapies, quoting neurobiologist Dr. Mark Jude Tramof Harvard Medical School who said that "music is biologically part of human live, as music is artistically a part of human life."
